The most fundamental basis is a triad: quantity, quality and the relationship between them. As an example, Person A punches at X PSI and person B punches at 1.5X PSI. But A punches you in the jaw while B punches you in the shoulder. In this case, quality triumphs over quantity.

I’m only on chapter 4 (i’m working on many major projects at the moment). I notice that the basic frame is wrong, though possibly not fatally so for the purposes of the thesis. The foundation is not “watts” (or any purely quantitative measure).

I found a chart that takes it back to 2008. The current spike is 20% higher than the worse spike (Feb 2009).
