Nordic Bildung is part of an Erasmus+ project about bildung. Adult education organizations from 9 European countries will be working with bildung and developing bildung programs 2021-2023. Lene Rachel Andersen of Nordic Bildung will be writing the theoretical foundation for the work. So far, we have handed in a 5-page intro to get the project started, and everybody is very excited about it. My weekend was disrupted, but in a good way and no it wasn’t that  Wales defeated Scotland in what we are calling the year of the Red-slam; we assume the English team we face in a fortnights time are already drawing lots as to who will receive a red card.  Normally I would have been in Edinburgh for the match, as I would have been in Cardiff the previous weekend when we defeated the Irish.  International matches being played in empty stadiums is not only a strange sight of itself, but it brings home the scale of what we are facing.  Saturday

In 2020, when we started realising the the full scope of the crisis around the COVID19 pandemic and the accompanying social and economic disruptions, Cognitive Edge, and in particular Dave Snowden, Director of the Cynefin Centre and our Chief Scientific Officer realised the need to publish a basic guide to help people make sense of complexity in general and this crisis in particular. For those who don’t know Wikipedia is twenty years old tomorrow.  It started in 2001 and I became an active editor five years later, User ID 1,988,889 which is the year it celebrated its millionth article and it is now well over fifty million.  I’ve got a little obsessed by the thing and have now edited 3,825 pages and averaged seven edits a day.   I’ve been subject to two Arbcom reviews of my conduct and the difference between the two is interesting.  I’ve had the two articles about me trolled in various ways over the year and learned an awful
