@BruceMctague I read about half of The 4th Turning, I think. I see both patterns playing out simultaneously. Globalization is trying to create an ever larger empire, while at the human level there is more and more fragmentation.

@BruceMctague Looks like an explosion, like being pulled apart. Thinking about the cyclical patterns of humans trying to build the tower of Babel and the subsequent disunification. Empires rising and falling.

Twitter engagement has been really screwy lately, so I experimented with locking my account. Seems like that does change engagement, but I’m not sure I like it. What has everyone else’s experinece with this been?
