Not everyone is aware of this, but all academics are legally required to append this point of clarification to their writing any time they use the word “deconstruction” in a sentence.

This is the essential point. https://t.co/1NxxaBPXj4 Quoted tweet from @jennfrey: I know the professorate is freaking out about the latest open AI writing bot, with good reason, but I’m more worried about AI replacing us as teachers. Seems like a good opportunity to remind ourselves that teaching and learning is interpersonal and aimed at human flourishing.

@brightabyss Nice. Yeah, that’s an important caveat.

@brightabyss I got beat up pretty bad when I was ~12 by a group of guys who were probably more like 18-19 years old. I’m not sure I learned too much from it other than how senseless and random violence can be sometimes. Martial arts is a different story—crucial to who I am as a person today.

Handwritten essays composed in person solve this problem. https://t.co/nvNTte8fEj Quoted tweet from @ThouArtThat: @Shermanicus Totally terrifying implications for higher ed. Definitely raises the stakes as regards scholarly integrity. I just thought of a random prompt for a short essay response… https://t.co/72wrhShp6h

@drsjcostello Nice. Jung seems to me always surfing those waves between Plato and Kant. I think Plato wins for him in the end, though.
