At the Design School for Regenerating Earth, we are excited to announce our new learning journey for 2025 called How to Organize Your Bioregion.
This will be a six month long exploration into what it means to live bioregionally, how to create the conditions for collaboration around the regeneration of vital ecosystems, and what you can do locally to contribute to restoring health to the Earth as a whole. Join us for the very affordable membership fee of $49 per year (or $5/month) to participate in this powerful opportunity.
Our mission is to support learning exchanges among bioregions as we coordinate efforts around the regeneration of the Earth. We have structured the Design School to focus on local actions in real-world landscapes. This means we help you to organize your own community while receiving support from others doing the same thing in other places around the world.
Get a feel for our larger vision by watching this video. You’ll see that we are doing a lot more than hosting an online course. This is a community of practice that is embedded in an ecosystem of human relationships who all work together at continental and planetary scales.
This year’s learning journey begins on March 18th, 2025 and goes through September — organized around the natural cycles of the Sun and Moon. We will have a bi-weekly rhythm of one webinar and one community call every two weeks.
During the off week, participants will join or create their own bioregional organizing teams and help create local design immersions for bioregional regeneration in the local bioregions where they live. Members of the Design School have already been invited to the first immersion that takes place in late February where the co-founders live in Barichara, Colombia. This focus on community engagement locally is what takes us into the regeneration of real-world ecosystems that will unfold throughout the six month period.

These membership dues go into a Design School Fund to help support the immersions hosted by participants of the learning journey and to cover operating costs of the school in general.
