LEADERSHIP (by Rob MacNamara)

Leadership is a broadly used and often ill-defined term. For some, leadership is the root cause of problems with power and hierarchy. For others, leadership holds the keys for solving our most difficult problems.

We view leadership as your unique self-expression of your lived experiences. We see leadership as a verb; it is an activity. Leadership is not something that you possess, but rather actions you take and that reflect how you perceive and how you express yourself.

The Real LIFE model proposes that leadership is expressed through your ability to facilitate change that is more meaningful, ethical and liberated. In other words, leading is facilitating more meaningful, ethical and liberated change.

In the Real LIFE Facilitator Program, we explore and develop three essential leadership skills – Choice, Change and Consciousness. Through choice, change and consciousness you demonstrate more meaning, ethical and liberated leadership.

By exploring CHOICE making, you will discover more effective means of self-expression.

Creating liberated CHANGE means you are increasing your proficiency to influence yourself, the people around you and the world you live in. Liberated change frees you to better participate with the changes that are already happening rather than solidifying your choices to reinforce your preferences, biases and expectation about what should be happening.

CONSCIOUSNESS is where meaning is created.
