Our friends at r3.0 are hosting a conference on “Collapse Resilience” this year. As part of the build-up to their event, they are holding dialogues about important topics that prepare the field for what is going to happen in September.
I was asked if I could give a talk about Tipping Points of the Earth System to frame what it means to be in planetary collapse right now. You will really enjoy watching the video — especially for the discussion that took place afterwards between Bill Baue, Ralph Thurm, and myself.
This was followed by a second session on Positive Tipping Points of the Earth and Human Systems. We were joined by Dr. Amit Bhowmik, a researcher who specializes in the study of tipping points in planetary and human systems. He gave a lengthy response to my presentation from the first session, then we had a very lively and meaningful discussion.
I encourage you to watch both talks. You will see how timely and important they are. Please share any comments or questions in the thread below.
Onward,
Joe
