Presentism? https://t.co/LKILdTjkAn Quoted tweet from @VividVoid_: So when you think of Freud, you conceive of him as a problematic figure from the past, instead of a sympathetic doctor trying to help? Interesting. It would be wild if someone came up with, like, a term for that.

The egocentric stage is cute (and appropriate) in small children. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

Yes, add a little patriotism and we’re getting somewhere. https://t.co/ziqMMjYqif Quoted tweet from @HistoryBoomer: I’m thinking of becoming a libertarian but with really high taxes and social spending.

Integral win/win/win politics: strive for a win for each major value structure. Gay rights, for example, succeeded by ringing a bell for traditionalism (marriage, military service), modernism (privacy and self-determination), and postmodernism (redeem the oppressed).

Well said, Max, and good question. I’m not at “solid integral”. I’m busy with the first turns of the spiral most of the time: I’m hungry, I’m horny, I want to be seen, to belong, to achieve, to right the wrongs of history. 1/2 https://t.co/d4EWgTbQVh Quoted tweet from @DuewMax: @DailyEvolver Beautifully put Jeff, thank you! I always struggle to put integral awareness into words, but it’s just that. A less clogged pipe through which perspectives, worldviews, and values flow more effortlessly. When would you say that your center of gravity was solid in integral?

Integral happens when I remember to see, feel and honor all that as objects of a bigger subject. As I practice I can do it more of the time and know it when it arises. In this moment I’d describe the feeling as “a post-tragic friendliness to all”. 2/2

Jeff Salzman retweeted: The world is not fixed. The world we know is limited by the consciousness that perceives it. If you change the consciousness that perceives the world, you will realize that we are an ongoing update process of the system that we live in. #consciousness #perception #system

13.8 billion years ago “something” emerged out of “nothing”. It has continued to complexify into our world and our knowing of it. There’s a religion in there somewhere (delivered, paradoxically, by science). This is why I have faith in Emergence Itself.
