By Lia Aurami for Enlivening Edge Magazine, with Frederic Laloux, Lisa Gill and others, as indicated Note from Enlivening Edge Magazine Editor: I can’t imagine a more fitting capstone article for Enlivening Edge Magazine becoming Enlivening Edge Magazine Library. (See our Editorial, to be published September 28) for an explanation.) The Reinventing Organizations book was the catalyst, through George Pór, for the creation of Enlivening Edge over nine years ago, and we’ve had a special mutually supportive relationship to the “Teal movement” all along. Enlivening Edge is one of the resources for readers mentioned in the book. The party will

By Alia “Lia” Aurami for Enlivening Edge Magazine Enlivening Edge Community Hub opened its doors to everyone a year ago. Now we celebrate that anniversary and also the end of the ninth year of Enlivening Edge itself! Enjoy reading milestones and reflections on those nine years in our recent 50th Editorial. The current Partners at Enlivening Edge spent a year creating the Hub: making online-platform decisions, creating a unique self-governance system, creating a uniquely warm and personalized Welcome and Orientation Program, designing innovative features such as a Concierge. Then followed over half a year of working with a self-selected group

We have published several articles supporting TATW’s expected future. But we recognize that the need to shift arises. We gratefully honor the many core team and farflung volunteers who made the previous conferences (see videos here) so worthwhile and exciting for the global Teal movement, and who (including Enlivening Edge) produced an awesome book anthology of stories of Teal organizations around the world. We expect to support whatever emerges as the next phase for TATW because

Enlivening Edge Magazine Editor’s Note: Here is a previous article in Enlivening Edge Magazine about Organic Organization (O2), an open source approach to self-management originated in Brazil   By Davi Gabriel Zimmer Da Silva and originally published on targetteal.com As humans, we have an intrinsic desire to direct our own actions. We hate not being able to make decisions about our own lives. At work, we appreciate making choices and following the paths we believe in. This is what we call autonomy, a powerful intrinsic motivator. However, we also like to have direction. There are times we feel anxious to find ourselves in

By Lia Aurami for Enlivening Edge Magazine “If you build it, they will come.” A popular 1989 US movie gave rise to this optimistic saying. In “Field of Dreams” Kevin Costner played a farmer who listened to a whispered inspiration to build a baseball field on some of his cropland. He did this, at risk of being thought crazy, and of financial ruin. The end of the movie shows a line of hundreds of cars wending their way toward the ballfield. Similarly, Enlivening Edge has heard inspiring whispers in our more than eight years of overview of and service to

By Teal Around The World for Enlivening Edge Magazine Editor’s Introduction: The DNA/Evolutionary Purpose of Enlivening Edge involves helping innovators of the next stage of human consciousness in organizations discover each other and begin to connect, form relationships, and collaborate. If we were to fully express that purpose, we would be producing global online conferences like this. Fortunately, The Teal Network is doing a wonderful job, so we are fully supporting them! The online Teal Around the World Conference was born in 2020, by not-for-profit, volunteer-staffed The Teal Network. TATW aims to help more people and organizations reach their purpose

By Travis Marsh and originally published at thetealteam.com Enlivening Edge is happy to be an affiliate ecosystem partner recommending this program. I can’t keep track of how many times I’ve done it. Drawn up a list of Teal or Teal-like organizations. Described their various affiliations. Noted their industry, size, and location. Named their leaders. Written down why they or others think their practices are Teal-y. I’ve probably done this a dozen times over the past several years. Several times as I co-wrote books such as Lead Together: The Bold, Brave, Intentional Path to Scaling Your Business. Sometimes to help friends
