🔬In the longevity and biohacker communities, spermidine is best known for supporting autophagy. If you listen to health podcasts, you’ve no doubt heard of autophagy, the natural clean-up and recycling process cells and mitochondria use to keep themselves healthy. But spermidine does even more than just supporting autophagy; it also plays important functional roles in cellular growth, DNA stability, tissue growth and repair, and responding to stress. #HealthyAgingMonth Learn more about spermidine 👉🏼 https://neurohacker.com/puremidine-spermidine-as-spermidine-trihydrochloride

🔬Both newer and older research has indicated that niacin boosts NAD+ levels in the liver extremely quickly and that niacin is a preferred form of vitamin B3 for boosting NAD+ in the gut. But because niacin is the “flushing” form of vitamin B3, we are careful to including amounts where flushing has not been reported to occur in Qualia formulations. This is where niacinamide comes into the picture. Learn more: https://neurohacker.com/benefits-of-niacin-niacinamide #longevity #NAD

A study published in March 2023 shows that a higher daily dose of magnesium is crucial for brain function. The study, which involved over 6,000 participants, found that a higher intake of magnesium in our diets from a younger age may safeguard against neurodegenerative diseases and cognitive decline by the time we reach our 40s. We break down the specifics of the study (how much magnesium, was it the same for men and women, etc.) here 👉🏼 https://neurohacker.com/cutting-edge-science-why-magnesium-is-crucial-for-brain-health Source: Science Daily 3.23.23

Senescent cells are expired cells that remain alive in the body long after their useful function (just like zombies 🧟 ). As we get older, we accumulate more and more senescent cells in our body. For decades, scientists knew IF they discovered how to help the human body naturally get rid of senescent cells it would be life-changing for human aging. In 2016, America’s top scientists at Mayo Clinic and Scripps published a STUNNING discovery regarding senescent cells, and how to help the body’s ability to naturally get rid of them. 🔬 Over the last 6 years, scientists have begun

It’s #HealthyAgingMonth and when it comes to aging senolytics are a science field revolutionizing human aging. 🔬We created the first “all-in-one senolytic” with 9 ingredients for better aging: •Fisetin (A flavonol which supports tissue by helping the body eliminate senescent cells.) • Quercefit® (A 20x more bioabsorbable form of quercetin to support pruning of stressed cells.) • Piperlongumine (An extract from the long-pepper plant that supports senolytic and immune functions to help manage stressed cells) • Senactiv® (A patented blend of notoginseng root and chestnut rose hips that supports exercise recovery and management of senescent cells in muscle.) 🔬As we grow older, the efficiency of our body’s process for eliminating damaged cells diminishes, resulting in the accumulation of senescent cells, often referred to as “zombie” cells. These dysfunctional cells cease to multiply but linger without perishing. Additionally, senescent cells release detrimental molecules that can harm neighboring healthy cells. This leads to a cascade of issues including tissue and organ dysfunction, chronic inflammation, oxidative stress, decreased sirtuin levels, shortened telomeres, and mitochondrial damage. It’s no surprise that cellular senescence is one of the 12 Hallmarks of Aging. #hallmarksofaging
