I often use the phrase “intersubjective verification of the interobjective” to describe a key method of knowledge making and sense-making. Some people politely call it “mighty dense,” while others more bluntly ask, “What the hell does that mean?”So after putting it off for awhile, I’ve attempted to unpack and explain the concept. A Google search suggests I’m the first to use the phrase, so I get to define it!Intersubjective Verification Of The InterobjectiveIn our quest to understand the world, we often rely on shared observations and mutual agreements to form a reliable body of knowledge. In this October 2019 lecture at the conference ‘Speaking Truth to Social Justice’ in London, James Lindsay presented a compelling critique of critical social justice and its ideological foundation in critical theory. He argued that this worldview fundamentally rejects objective truth, reason, and evidence-based methods, which are essential for genuine progress. According to Lindsay, critical theorists prioritize “strategic” theories over true or false ones, seeking to advance political agendas rather than to understand reality. Drawing on examples from feminist and social justice literature, Lindsay illustrated how critical theory undermines fields like engineering, climate science, and education by prioritizing social power over truth.

New Discourses Bullets, Ep. 87 We all know we have to tell the truth, especially in these trying times. Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn told us that a single man telling the truth could bring down a regime. Well, how do you tell the truth against those odds? You need a lot more than knowing you should tell the truth. You have to love the truth (and fear it!) with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul, and all your strength, and then you need to tell your neighbor the truth as you would expect him to tell the truth to

Together we explored “finding the third way” that brings together the best of indigenous knowledge with the best of Western culture. Please watch and reflect on the wisdom that Dan brings to this discussion. Also please share the video with anyone who might find value in it. This was a conversation that helped shape the creation of the 7 Generation Bioregional Earth Summit and is part of the work that Brian Puppa and Susan Bosak are doing at the Legacy Project.I highly

Everything is connected. This simple truth has profound consequences. It should be obvious that all knowledge is connected too — though this is clearly not the case. Simply look at any course catalogue at a university and you will find that knowledge has been divided into disciplinary silos and academic departments. When I went to college back in 1995, I arrived with a full scholarship that allowed me to meander across the course offerings without selecting a major. It was commonplace that a friend would come across me on campus and we’d strike up a conversation. Many a time it was that I
