@BrandlehowSch Thank you for noticing this connection. While I don’t feel I can take any direct credit in this case, as with any teaching, the joy of being part of a story like this is simply knowing that you are part of it. We can never be sure where our influence begins and ends.

@1Meric @PhoebeTickell @CamdenCouncil But it’s just not true. Have you heard of hysteresis?

Heartened by the final hustings of the SNP leadership debate @TimesRadio All candidates seemed much more plausible at the end of weeks of healthy competition. The questions were tough but the atmosphere was friendly. Kudos to the chair @AasmahMir youtube.com/live/HHqfbDssB… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

Jonathan Rowson retweeted: “Don’t wait until you’re 53 to have fun is what I’d tell my 16-year-old self.” Happy to see that @NicolaSturgeon chose my former employer @theRSAorg to give her final major public speech as First Minister. The Great Room is always a great place to be. youtu.be/bo-KwXRbDNc

@alastairmci Thanks!

@adamjorlen I know the latter quite well, and I’ll get the former, thanks. (I’ve heard of Galtung of course but have yet to read primary texts).

I am keen to hear book recommendations on the philosophy and practice of peace? I would like to get beyond the simple ‘war is bad and peace is good’ idea to encounter a deeper sense of the struggle with/for peace-making. And where is the field of peace studies at the moment?

@IanPChristie Ah, perfect. I’ll email you the context for my request. J
