Joe Brewer retweeted: Just arrived somewhere with a vibrant local culture and a real sense that bioregionalism can happen here. I’ve been reflecting on the many reasons why that is and something simple popped up. The use of cars here is minimal. Most people walk. Most people talk.

It was really beautiful this morning when I reconnected with an old friend who is now working in strategic philanthropy in service to regenerative bioregional approaches. Hoping we can help him bring resources to people on the ground who urgently need them in the years ahead.

We are already doing this and have been transforming an entire landscape with this approach for three years. It works! Quoted feed from @sallyh_nz Finally got around to reading this article. What a revelation @garysheng. Are you too an in-betweener? e.g. you… Do essential work, but work that doesn’t have industry jargon to describe it, so it’s almost by definition under-described and undervalued. substack.garysheng.com/p/inbโ€ฆ

I was very disappointed in the Regen Foundation for the way they failed at discernment, did not care at all for relationships, and walked away from working with a real-world landscape. Just going to let this be known for the sake of truth. Quoted feed from @RegenFdn Join us (90 minutes from now) to hear @todd_x_y and colleagues at Vivero present about their Participatory Trust for Earth Regeneration. There’s a call link in this calendar event. google.com/calendar/event?eiโ€ฆ

Joe Brewer retweeted: This week, the Design School for Regenerating Earth hosts the first call for bioregions to update one other. We’re walking an adaptive path towards mutual learning and support between bioregions. So exciting to wonder what will emerge given some time! ๐ŸŒŽ

For everyone who is interested in the Design School for Regenerating Earth, you might want to also follow @RootingExplorer and @pennyheiple because they are co-founders who do a lot to hold the field as it is emerging. ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒ

Joe Brewer retweeted: The bioparque here in Barichara teaches all of us who have the honor to work with her. She taught me how to plant trees. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Quoted feed from @RootingExplorer Planted my first cactus in the bioparque today. Feels good to contribute to the commons and the future. The top is covered in dirt because at first I planted it upside down. I’ve farmed, practiced permaculture, and worked at nurseries, and I still planted it upside down๐Ÿ™ƒ.
