@cognazor When @nealjclark1 is right, he’s right. Public school (at least rurally) is where the localist action’s at, where you put your skin in the game and become a positive influence on the local culture

Jason Snyder retweeted: So we are always skirting around the topic of religion, and in this episode, I speak with a practicing Catholic and Lutheran to get their thoughts about living in faith and not being internet brained about it. Go to church Easter Sunday!

@cognazor I suspect that getting the frogs a stable habitat is a micro-keystone species situation. Eats mosquitos and other garden pests, and is also prey to birds, snakes, etc

@cognazor Hoping that it stays filled long enough for the tadpoles to turn into frogs. Last year most of them died…

Read this thread to understand why DO is resilient, and won’t schism very easily Quoted feed from @RizomaSchool I am seeing a bunch of different movements imploding on the basis of purity tests. I am increasingly of the opinion that inclusion in a group can’t be solely based on ideology. It’s toxic.

This tweet is very self serving bc I’m too lazy to set up grow lights, but I like that my starters hang out outside with the elements (and inside behind a window when it gets cold). I think they are more resilient, even if they don’t have ‘optimal growing conditions’

@cognazor For the record I have no issue with using electricity as a supplement like this, it’s not replacing the main show in town Quoted feed from @rabcyr_alt @cognazor i am wondering tho… currently i could run 1500w for 12 hours without it costing anything, and last frost is april 29 (yesterday morning was 20). maybe it’d make some sense for me to get some grow lights?

@cognazor Science fiction Quoted feed from @_StevenFan @cognazor maybe in the far technological future they will make machines so small that they can harvest the light energy directly and use it to create more complex molecules in auto-catalyzing assemblies wait a second I’m just describing onions
