@jamesrbuk Why does everyone assume he didn’t? Seems likely that he did and then claimed not to because of the backlash. His ‘explanation’ – that he put real cash in and rigged the shredder up to output fake money doesn’t scan. How? No evidence offered. But no one has any incentive to dig.
