Excellent comment, thanks! Yes, I agree. The paradigm shift has yet to happen (or it is 'happening'), and hyper- and meta- modernism are often described aesthetically (how could they be anything really ontological?). And it is certainly true in many senses that 'postmodernism' continues, as it has been a locus of the culture war, leading Matt McManus to describe "postmodern conservatism" that is dominant today.
