The political polarity of Left and Right is indestructible. People are naturally drawn to 1 pole or the other. We want to “fix what’s wrong” or “preserve what’s right.” These 2 poles are interdependent. So to forward your preferred pole, affirm the values of the pole you oppose!
This kind of transformation is woven into the narrative, but the theory seems to consistently identify quantity (of force) as the single foundation. I’ll wait till I’m further in the story to see if this makes a difference in the thesis.

The most fundamental basis is a triad: quantity, quality and the relationship between them. As an example, Person A punches at X PSI and person B punches at 1.5X PSI. But A punches you in the jaw while B punches you in the shoulder. In this case, quality triumphs over quantity.
