These labels are touted as goals:have courage,have compassion,have trust. But these are nuanced responses to contextual,historical experiences. Trusting someone who is lying isnt good,misplaced courage is also called recklessness,compassion is dangerous when bound in caveats.
It seems to me that before anyone proclaims any particular characteristic to be of a higher nature or better than another … it is worth a moment of humility and sensitivity to the unique complexity of each person’s life & epistemological responses.
