Two thoughts: 1. This represents movement from a modern “winners and losers” sensibility to a postmodern sensibility that is anti-hierarchical and collaborative. It is cultural progress. Further progress valorizes both competition and collaboration: an integral sensibility. 2/3
2. Patriarchy is a developmental structure seen everywhere in postmodernity. Women actively participated in it and still do in many cultures and subcultures. With the rise of feminism in modernity and postmodernity both men and women are participating in its dismantling. 3/3
