Dave Snowden: Its always a pleasure to teach in Latin America even with simultaneous translation (and its takes 30% longer to say something in Portugese than English and the Welsh speak English 30% faster as well). I think one of the reasons is that, unlike Anglo-Saxon audiences they are happy to go with the flow and gain understanding over the course of a day rather than demanding something simplistic enough to be understood in the first five minutes. The format Ian set for this was also good. I spent a day and a half training his team in Estuarine Mapping, then they successfully ran the exercise with a senior team on the final afternoon – with excellent results. We then had two sessions (IT and OD) which mixed lecture with panel sessions in which I was able to interact with #Executives and their real world problems. Overall an excellent week with two other sessions with Alexandre Magno and Chie also.
