🌟 What #Sensemaker did for me was offer a lens to see and understand things not as isolated entities, but in the context of relationships. So, for me, this emphasis on context is a crucial aspect that sets it apart. The other element is its focus on relationships.

🌟 It provided me with a means to respond and examine responses that revolve around relationships, the process of self-signification, and how people add extra layers of meaning to the stories they share—the very essence captured by those characteristic triangles in Sensemaker®.

🌟 Rather than using isolated, individual scales, Sensemaker® explores the connections between things. This approach allows for various #quantitativeanalysis to be applied, without neglecting the importance of how things interrelate, and how they come together through people’s perspectives.

🌟 Another vital aspect, in my opinion, is that you’re not just sharing your story or opinion to be analysed by someone else later. Instead, you analyse it as you share it, through the process of adding meaning to it. This feature is entirely unique because it means that our assumptions, hypotheses, and expectations can be tested, questioned, and challenged by the people who share their stories with the participants.

💡 There’s no rigid hierarchy between the source of data and the analyst. Instead, it empowers respondents to engage more directly in the process.
