15+ March 15, 2015 at 6:10 pm (FAST!) Thanks for sharing these great tips last August! I’ve recently adopted them and I have a question (that’s kind of connected to the last post): how important would promoting content be when using this strategy? For example, through Google Adwords. As I guess that would depend on the circumstances, but I am trying to discover if there’s a ‘formula’ here. Thanks in advance!
increase your ROI with us Much in the way that QDF (Query Demands Freshness) dials up the ranking factor of how recent a document may be, you can imagine that looking at factors such as the recency and freshness of just links might be a useful balancing factor, helping to surface older documents that still serve that ‘fresh’ need or application, attested to by recent link growth.

Domain authority: Domain authority refers to how much weight Google gives to a particular domain when it’s determining ranking. High domain authority means Google likes your website — you look like a legitimate organization, providing good content that people actually want. That makes it easier for you to climb in the SERPs (search engine results pages), relative to competitors. Individual pages have their own page authority — a value based on how good that page looks to Google. However, even mediocre pages have an easier time ranking if Google likes their domain.

Amazon provides a very simple-to-use interface where sellers can populate all the data relevant to their product. Once you know what to put in these fields, it makes it very easy to implement any changes.
Damteq® SEO Training, I hear you. My issue is that with dozens or even hundreds of websites competing for the same keywords, only a handful can be successful. You might say there's more opportunity in the long tail, and I agree, but still, at some point, in many fields, a few winners (maybe only 5-10, maybe 10-50, but probably not many 100s) will rise to the top and own a significant portion of the SERPs. Given that, if you or your company aren't willing to be in the top echelon and do the work required to get there, you might consider other paths for your web marketing. Content marketing, social media, press, paid channels, email, offline advertising, etc. are all opportunities for business generation (along with many others). No one can be great at all of them, so you have to choose what matches your strengths, your audience's preferences, and your company's ROI.
